We are stilll addicted to product testing. If you are interested in a
particular report or if you can provide us
with products for trial or your own product reports (text and picture
material) that would be great! Please
feel free to contact our editors. Special thanks once again to Avon and
Nivea who do not stop offering us
new products. This month we had the opportunity to attend a Chanel Make Up
seminar arranged by the
austrian fashion magazine Diva in cooperation with the Douglas perfumery
chain. We were introduced to
current trends and tricks and I am sure that we will have to include
Chanel products in our product test
section very soon.
During the month of April our focus concerning news was once again on
makeup trends and skincare. As
summer is really approaching fast we will surely have a look at suncare in
May. These products will
certainly be covered in our product report section as well.
Our link collection concerning beauty & style has still grown a little
since last month. If you find out that
something is still amiss or there was a change of address on a site ,
please let us know.
In April our emphasis was clearly on updating our collections but
nevertheless we also had quite a few
interesting events to attend: At the beginning of April there was the
"Austria Hair Congress" in the
Austria Center Vienna, where hairstylists presented the latest trends and
manufacturers of haircare and
makeup products where offering their products. By mid-April Marcela
Hernandez presented her new
collection for the second time in the wellness café. During the Vienna
City Festival there was a stage set
up on Michaeler Square for the art fashion event giving young austrian
fashion designers the opportunity
to show their work. On April 30th Karin van Vliet, La Hong and Josef
Winkler participated once again in
fusion fashion dressing up and styling models in a life performance.
We are already looking forward to the month of May when the next lifeball
in Vienna´s city hall will take
But now on to our updated collections: Ergee, Zara, Pia Antonia, P2,
Intimissimi, Wolff (featuring the
recent pulse collection), Replay, Bundy Bundy (Romantic Look 2002). New
additions are also two
collections of austrian designers: on the one hand Aniko - whom we were
able to visit in her showroom -
and on the other hand Kasei; concerning new shops we have Hermès Boutique,
Lady Knize and René
Lezard (comprising accessories and the current women´s and men´s wear) and
last but not least La
If you want to become part of fashionnetwork.at with your own collections,
please don't hesitate to

In May we will start our next questionnare - this time about beauty. Like
last time you have the
opportunity to win. Two participants will get a voucher for a colour and
make up consultation at Naegele
& Strubell. Good luck!
Concerning our new features about style announced in our last newsletter
we are hoping for your
patience. Due to our updating frenzy, we just couldn´t finish what we had
planned - but postponing is not
